Drawings for the Lace exhibition 

Nottingham Trent University, Bonington gallery

All three illustrative drawings were inspired by the lace archive which is in the Universities building, being showcased alongside lace pieces from the archive at the exhibition which has just opened tonight, 13th November 2012.  I concentrated on a 1920-30's fashion prediction book sent from Paris, within this, certain photographs took my particular attention.  I attached lace behind the illustrations to show more patterns on the garments and embroidered over the drawings, where in the original photographs there was lace.
